1.  Finish your Padlet Animal Poster

Finish your planning worksheet, then create a poster in Padlet that includes at least one non-copyrighted image and all the information you learned about the animal. Be sure to use complete sentences. The title of your Padlet should be the animal you are researching. The description must include your name.

2.  When you are finished with your poster, click on the link below to fill in the Google Form to share your Padlet Poster with Ms. Lopez:

Learning Goals: Today we're going to review how to do a good Google Search for credible information. You are also going to learn how to use Google Advanced Search to find images that are legal to use. 

1.  How to use Google Advanced Search to find images that are legal to use.

2.  Create your Padlet Animal Poster

You will be assigned an animal to research. As you do your research, write all the information you find on the planning worksheet. This will be turned in for grading when you are finished. Once you have all the information you need, you will create a Padlet poster to display your information. Use at least one legal image of the animal on your Padlet poster, and be sure to include all the facts about the animal that you wrote on the planning worksheet. The title of your Padlet should be the animal you are researching. The description must include your name.

Raisins and 7-up Lab


  1. Follow directions on worksheet
  2. Carefully observe the raisins in the 7-up and record your observations
  3. Write one or two questions based on your observations
  4. Choose one of your questions and write a hypothesis (possible answer to your question)

Clean Up: When you are finished with the lab, throw your raisins in the trash, clean up any spills on the desk with a wipe, rinse out your beaker, and return your supplies to where you got them.
