Monday 2/23 Agenda


Learning Goal: To understand and be able to describe the structure and function the main parts of animal cells and plant cells. 


1. Cells Rotation Lab : Today you will make up any unfinished work from any of the stations and put your work together to create a portfolio.

  • Sit at a table with your group
  • Select one person from the group to go get the work folder and distribute each person's work
  • Complete any unfinished work
  • Attach your organelle cards to your plant cell drawing
  • Make a title page for your portfolio "Cell Structures and Functions"
  • Turn in your portfolio in the turn in box


Expectations for Cell Lab Stations
  • Focus on what you need to finish.
  • Stay in your assigned place.
  • Work Cooperatively.
  • Be aware of the countdown clock

2. Reflection: When you have turned in your portfolio, go to Google Classroom and follow the directions to write a reflection about what you learned from the cells rotation lab. If you don't finish in class, this must be completed as homework. The reflection is due tomorrow (Tuesday).

3. Quizlet: When you finish your reflection, practice the Cell Structures Quizlet (at least 10 minutes)

4. If you have time, try this Quiz to see how much you have learned about cell structures and functions.
